From the Desk of
Open Source Santa Claus
Dear CertainLach,
Ho ho ho! Or should I say, "git commit -m 'Ho ho ho!'"? I've been watching your GitHub profile, and boy oh boy, what a digital winter wonderland you've created!
I see you've been quite the busy little elf in the open-source workshop. 231 repositories? That's more forks than my reindeer have antlers! But quantity doesn't always mean quality, does it? I noticed your 'fleet' project for NixOS cluster configuration. Is that your attempt at automating my sleigh route? Cute, but I'll stick to my magic, thank you very much.
Speaking of magic, your 'jrsonnet' project seems to be your claim to fame. 315 stars? Not bad, not bad at all. But remember, my dear, stars in the GitHub sky don't always translate to presents under the tree. Maybe if you focused less on implementing yet another JSON tool and more on spreading joy, you'd have more than 61 followers. Just a thought from an old man who's been in the gift-giving business for centuries.
I see you're wishing for a "Release manager" this year. Oh, the irony! With 327 commit contributions, you'd think you'd have learned to manage your own releases by now. But don't worry, I'm sure one day you'll graduate from "push to master" to actual release management. Keep dreaming big!
PS: Next time you're in Serbia, Belgrade, why don't you take a break from your computer and build a real snowman? It might improve your 'bio' which is currently as empty as a stocking on the naughty list!
Sarcastically yours,
Salty Open Source Santa
