From the Desk of
Open Source Santa Claus
Dear Eric "Open Source" Ball,
Ho ho ho! Well, well, well, if it isn't the Bay Area's very own code Santa! I've been watching your GitHub profile, and let me tell you, it's quite the Christmas miracle that you've managed to accumulate a whopping 12 followers. I suppose in the vast ocean of Silicon Valley, you're barely a ripple, but hey, at least you're not just another drop, right?
I see you're part of the Linux Foundation, Open Horizon, EdgeX Foundry, and LF Edge. Impressive! It's like you're collecting open-source organizations like they're Pokemon cards. But remember, Eric, quality over quantity. Just because you're everywhere doesn't mean you're making an impact anywhere.
I noticed your wish list includes "more likes and stars on my repos." Oh, sweetie. Perhaps if you spent less time joining every organization under the sun and more time actually contributing meaningful code, those stars might just magically appear. But don't worry, I'm sure your mom thinks your repositories are very special.
PS: If you're looking for a New Year's resolution, maybe try following more than one person on GitHub. It might help with that whole "collaboration" thing the open-source community keeps talking about.
Sarcastically yours,
Salty Open Source Santa
