From the Desk of
Open Source Santa Claus
Dear Shawn Wonsmos,
Ho ho... oh no. I've just reviewed your GitHub profile, and I must say, I'm more disappointed than a developer finding out their favorite framework is deprecated.
It seems you've mastered the art of digital invisibility. Two whole repositories? Wow, you're really pushing the boundaries of open source contribution there. I'm particularly impressed by your daring fork of CryptoAppraisal. Nothing says "innovator" quite like a repository with zero commits and zero stars.
But wait, there's more! Your datetimepicker repo, automatically exported from Google Code, is a true masterpiece of inactivity. Those two open issues must be feeling pretty lonely after seven years. Perhaps they're hoping for some company this Christmas?
Speaking of Christmas, I see you're wishing for a server rack, a new Dell XPS laptop, and an NVIDIA H100. With your current contribution level, perhaps you should start with a Raspberry Pi and work your way up?
PS: Remember, Shawn, in open source, it's not about the code you take, it's about the code you make. Maybe make some next year?
Sarcastically yours,
Salty Open Source Santa
