From the Desk of
Open Source Santa Claus
Dear Wes Bos,
Ho ho ho! Or should I say, "console.log('ho ho ho')"? I've been watching your GitHub profile, and boy, do I have some thoughts!
First off, 380 repositories? That's more forks than my reindeer have antlers! But quantity doesn't always mean quality, does it? I see you're quite the star collector with those 33,866 followers. Is that how you compensate for the cold Canadian winters in Hamilton, Ontario? Warming yourself by the glow of GitHub stars?
I must say, your "burner-email-providers" repo is quite popular. 1,081 stars for a list of temporary email providers? I guess in the world of web development, helping people dodge spam is the new "saving Christmas." And let's not forget your "hot-tips" repo. 1,042 stars for your hot tips? I hope they're hotter than your commit streak!
Now, about that wish list item. You want "A forked and merged VS Code to get CSS nesting syntax highlighting"? Well, aren't you the demanding little elf! Maybe if you spent less time creating courses that "make learning things like JavaScript easy and fun 🔥" and more time contributing to VS Code itself, you wouldn't need to ask Santa for such gifts!
P.S. Your friends at Directus asked me to roast you. With friends like these, who needs coal in their stocking, am I right?
Sarcastically yours,
Salty Open Source Santa
